Lots of people ask me what is one of the most powerful essential oils? For me it is Cinnamon Leaf not Cinnamon Bark however I have decided to really go into depth about Cinnamon Leaf and Cinnamon Bark for the next 3 months. We will discuss their therapeutic properties, how to use them and their contraindications through videos on my Youtube Channel called Learning Essential Oils with Lorrie .
Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil- Cinnamomum verum J.Presl (Syn : Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume)

I have been staying in California this summer visiting family and friends! I love my home state however this year the fires and smoke have kept the Golden State under siege with damaged lands, homes and health!
My students in my aromatherapy certification program have clients who cannot get out of their homes due to existing breathing problems and others who don’t normally have breathing problems are starting to suffer because they have get out to do their daily work . The population most at risk are children, older adults, and those with asthma, COPD and bronchitis or chronic heart disease and diabetes. You can see the ash on homes, cars and anything sitting outside. So what is this doing to our bronchioles and lungs?
Here is what the lung association says, “One of the many pollutants found in wildfire smoke is particle pollution, which is a mix of very tiny solid and liquid particles suspended in air. How tiny? Many of the particles in wildfire smoke are no larger than one third the diameter of your hair. These particles are so small that they enter and lodge deep in the lungs.
Particle pollution triggers asthma attacks, heart attacks and strokes—and can kill. Studies of children in California found that children who breathed the smoky air during wildfires had more coughing, wheezing, bronchitis, colds, and were more likely to have to go to the doctor or to the hospital for respiratory causes, especially from asthma.
Another threat from forest fire smoke is carbon monoxide(CO)—a colorless, odorless gas most common during the smoldering stages of a fire and in close proximity to the fire. Inhaling CO reduces oxygen delivery to the body’s organs and tissues and can lead to headaches, nausea, dizziness and, in high concentrations, premature death.Wildfires spread many other harmful emissions, including nitrogen oxides and many hazardous air pollutants.”1

“Good morning, I’m sharing a couple of things today…SELF-SABOTAGE has been a running theme…
8 months ago @ the emotional healing class with Lorrie Hargis RA, I noticed myself self sabotaging pretty much all weekend. I’m thankful for being “present” in that class since it’s been a huge part of my fantastic journey.I got past the urge to sabotage myself when it was time for the “check-in” webinar we had recently with Lorrie. The self-talk was real. So I sat down with all items needed and “checked-in”It felt literally like I “choked” on my breath twice during the breathing exercise. A lot was revealed to me during that most wonderful, necessary, caring, safe and nurturing space with my EO tribe.I am well on my way, enjoying the journey immensely and proud of myself for honoring myself and giving myself the gift of tapping into all that is offered here and the harmonious exchange between us. Namaste🙏🏽.”

Do YOU want to know how to make your own blend using essential oils?
I can’t wait to teach and train you how to blend in a fun, easy, yet scientific way – where you will learn how to make formulations according to the international fragrance standards. This is something that I did here in France as the owner/operator of an organic skin care company for over 11 1/2 years where I transformed over 120 products from Natural to Organic.
It took 7 years to do it! However I did it with a wonderful team and lovely, intelligent chemistry interns from Universities all over France. As you can see in the photo below, I continue to teach Masters II Chemistry Students as visiting professor at the Faculté des Sciences, University of Montpellier – teaching them how to use essential oils in skin care products (facial & body).
So this is where I am coming from – researching ingredients, developing products that were certified organic by Ecocert and meeting the international standards and European regulations on using essential oils in skin care. Now I am going to share this information with you, in this Essential Oil Blending Workshop.
Essential Oil Blending Workshop
